Connecting an iPad to the internet (Cyberhound)
Connecting your iPad to the internet at the college is a bit more difficult than connecting at home. It involves multiple steps. Follow the procedure in this guide to connect to the internet.
Install the Education Certificate
- Tap on the address bar at the top of the Safari screen
- Enter the following: cert.localnetwork.zone
- Click on Install
- Click on Allow
- Press the Home button to quit Safari, then go to the iPad's settings
- On the left, make sure you're in the "General" tab
- At the bottom of the General screen, click on "Profiles & Device Management"
- At the top, click on "Netbox Blue"
- Click on Install three times.
- Once done, go back to the General screen. Then, at the very top, click on "About"
- At the bottom, click on "Certificate Trust Settings"
- Under "Enable full trust for root certificates", click on Netbox Blue to make it green. Continue if prompted.
- Done!
