Apple TV Troubleshooting
We understand that staff may be getting frustrated with the Apple TVs and have been unplugging them in favour of connecting their devices directly to the projector. We have absolutely no problems with staff doing this and you may continue to do so at your leisure. All we ask is if you unplug an Apple TV in a room shared between multiple teachers, please plug it back in before leaving the room.
If you're having issues AirPlaying from your device to the Apple TV, please consult these guides:

The Apple TV isn't showing up in the list of available AirPlay devices.
Step 1
Check if your device is on either of the school networks, WIRELESS-2.4 and WIRELESS-5.
Step 2
Check if the Apple TV has power. The cable displayed in the image below is the 2-pin power cable for the Apple TVs. If there's no power cable or if you can't find the Apple TV, call IT at 208.

The Apple TV has power, but the projector isn't displaying the Apple TV's image.
Step 1
Check the two inputs at the wall panel to see if either of them displays the Apple TV's image. If the Apple button on the wall panel does not correspond to the Apple TV, make a note of it and inform IT when you have the time.

Step 2
Check the Apple TV itself. Make sure that the HDMI cable is plugged in. It should look like the cable displayed below. If there's no HDMI cable or you cannot find the Apple TV, call IT at 208.

If there's an adapter that looks like the image below, then make sure that the adapter's power brick is plugged in.

This is what the adaptor's power cable looks like:

If there's still no display after checking all of these possibilities, give IT a call at 208 and ask for a technician to assist.
The Apple TV isn't playing any sound / is too loud.
Step 1
Check the volume at the wall panel. The volume must be configured there. You can't hold the volume buttons down - you have to press the volume once at a time in order for it to increase or decrease, so get ready to do a lot of pressing!

Step 2
If there's an adapter plugged in to the Apple TV, make sure that the 3.5mm cable is plugged in at both ends. It should go from the adapter into the wall.
If the audio still isn't working, give IT a call at 208.
