Connecting your MacBook to an Apple TV

Step 1

Turn the projector on at the wall panel. Give it a minute or two to warm up.

Step 2

At the top right of your MacBook, you should see an icon that looks similar to the one highlighted below. This is the AirPlay icon. Click it to proceed. This will bring up a list of Apple TVs.

On the latest MacBooks, it looks slightly different. Click the icon displayed below.

Then, click the Screen Mirroring icon to bring up the list of Apple TVs.

Step 3

Find the correct device. It should be named after the room that you're in. Once you've found the correct room, click it. This will wake up the Apple TV.

Step 4

Enter the AirPlay code displayed by the projector.
