Quick Reference User Guide
INTRODUCTION
To use this guide, you will need to know a few things before commencing
- Your extension number
- Your mailbox number (usually your extension number)
- The Voicemail extension number (extns 290)
NOTE: Prompts will always assist you when access your mailbox
First you will need to record your personal greeting and customise your mailbox before sending or receiving messages. To do this you need to begin by logging into your mailbox.
MAILBOX LOG IN-Initial Setup
Dial the mailbox extension number - 290
Prompt for Mail Box Management press 3
Enter Password (If set) “99EXT#”
Press ‘1” to Change personnel Greeting
Press “1”- Change No Answer Greeting
Press 1 - Change Message
Record your greeting after the tone
Listen to the voice prompts to store greeting or re-record greeting
FORWARDING CALLS TO YOUR MAILBOX
When you want to forward calls to your mailbox
Lift handset
Dial Ü7105290#
(or press ‘FWD/DND’ button if these code has been already entered prior
To cancel, Lift handset, dial ‘Ü7100#
(or press ‘FWD/DND’ button)
CHECKING FOR MESSAGES
Log into your mailbox – press the “message” button or dial 290
Listen to the prompts to save, delete or forward messages.
1 = listen to new messages
2 = listen to old messages
3 = delete message
Change delay time before going to Mail Box
The default time your phone will ring before going to your Mail Box is 15secs
To change the timer
NT553, DT543, T7630-DT333 model handsets
Press PROG button
Dial 53
Press Clear
Enter time – 015= 15 secs
Press Enter to save
T7667 model handsets
Press PROG button
Dial 53
Press AutoDial/Store button Clear
Enter time – 015= 15 secs
Press AutoDial/Store button to save
